Back to World Unknown! After the death of my laptop, I deliberated for at least a day before purchasing an almost identical laptop from eBay. This way my hard drives could easily drop in and I already knew the capabilities of the machine. I had a lot of time on my hands after school finished Read more about New Year 2020[…]
After the awsome night that was World Unknown October, I was very happy to be invited back for the November gig. This time in a venue with walls all around, power that comes out of sockets and even sofas to relax. I was to perform in the ambient room this time around. …. but it Read more about The gig that wasn’t[…]
A few weeks ago I had a message from some old DJ friends from the 90s, and they asked me if I fancied coming back…. Word Unknown October 2019 What can I say? It was a very long night! My crew was my 13 year old daughter. It was awesome. The venue was a squatted Read more about Looks like I’m back![…]
I’ve spent the last couple of evenings casually generating new content. I guess these are what back in the day I used to describe as trippy videos. Need to do some more work to get that working with the sequencer. I’m really pleased with the two kaleidoscope layers. Using the mixer you can Read more about Another update[…]

It currently has nine layers of simultaneous imagery and video with a combination of sprite based animation using phaser.io plus video layers; WebM with alpha channel for foreground and MP4 for background. I’ve got an idea for at least one more sprite based layer taking the Read more about Work in progress[…]
This was my final mixmasters piece. This time, instead of spending months rendering animations I created something much simpler (and quicker) using digital photos and a few characters from my library of creations.
I’d completely forgotten about this. A video we remixed for lunar drive back in the day.
